TechMax is a comprehensive web application designed to streamline job logging and management for field service operations. It empowers technicians with efficient mobile tools for daily tasks and provides supervisors and administrators with powerful oversight and reporting capabilities.

Who is this guide for?

This guide is intended for all users of the TechMax application:

  • Administrators / Managers: Responsible for overseeing operations, managing users, rates, areas, approving logs, and generating reports. Sections specific to this role are marked accordingly.
  • Field Technicians: Responsible for logging daily jobs, viewing job history, and checking earnings. Sections specific to this role are marked accordingly.

The documentation is structured to guide each role through their relevant tasks and features.

Basic Navigation

TechMax uses a consistent navigation structure:

  • Sidebar: The main navigation menu located on the left side (on desktop) or accessible via a menu button (on mobile). It provides links to different sections based on your role.

  • Dashboard Sections: The main content area displays relevant information and tools based on the selected section from the sidebar.
  • Header: May contain user profile access, notifications, and theme settings.

Navigate through the sections using the sidebar links to find information relevant to your tasks.
